The Spanish Art Song Society is an art community that is constantly making efforts to expand the base of Spanish songs. Since its first inaugural concert on November 20, 1984, it has been greatly contributing to raising the global positioning of Korea through mutual exchange of arts and culture with Spain, as well as striving for the development of culture and arts through regular concerts twice a year (first half and second half of the year) and arranging performances of Spanish artists in Korea. The Society takes the lead in distributing Spanish songs and promoting artistic vitality and cultural vibrancy in the domestic vocal arts world through significant performances of Korea’s reputable vocalists, discovery and stage performance of emerging newcomers. Its 70th regular concert presented beautiful and charming songs that represent the Spanish Renaissance and Baroque period on the attractive stage that came up to the audience one step closer, greatly appealing to the the audience. In this 71st concert, the vocal artists meet you, the audience with songs that represent the 19th century in Spain.
