A Cellist Shin, Sang Won, a member of Music Family, has received BA from Indiana University, MA from Carnegie Mellon University and Ph.D. from Rutgers University. She has studied under Gary Hoffman, Janos Starker, George Sopkin, Zara Nelsova, Bernard Greenhouse etc. including professor Shin, Joo Yoen, her father. She won awards from famous contests in USA and Asia, serving as solo recital. In addition, she\’s thought students at the Cello Ensemble, Beehouse Cello School, Kyung Hee University and Korea National University of Arts and currently staying in Seoul with her family for teaching and performing activities with many local and foreign charities. She is now under Christian education at Torch Trinity Graduate School of Theology. Also, she has established a Blue Cloud Cello Ensemble, doing performance activities.
