Pianist Jin Kang-woo, known for his solid and profound musical interpretations that captivate audiences, graduated from the Department of Piano, College of Music, Hanyang University College as a practical master and obtained his Master of Music at the same school. Subsequently, he furthered his education at Indiana State University, where he obtained another Master of Music and a Performer’s Diploma (PD). Additionally, he completed studies in piano pedagogy and obtained a Doctorate of Musical Arts from University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Music, establishing himself not only as a professional performer but also as an educator. Having studied under Professor Kim Hyung-kyu in Korea and Emile Naoumoff and Christopher Taylor abroad, Jin shared his knowledge as a faculty member at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. He also served as a pre-school instructor at the Summer Music School at the Madison Conservatory of Music and as a instructor at the Professional and Continuing Education Institute at the same institution in the USA. Additionally, he served as a visiting professor at the Graduate School of Culture and Art, Myongji University. Currently he teaches at Hanyang University and Chonnam National University, and serves as a visiting professor at Hyupsung University.
