# Soprano Lee Young-eunRenowned for her clear and beautiful voice, the soprano Lee Young-eun graduated from Gangwon Arts High School and the College of Music, Sungshin Women’s University with honors under a full scholarship, and earned master’s degree at the graduate school of Sungshin University as well. She then flew to the United States to pursue studies at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, where she obtained both her master’s degree and performer’s diploma. Subsequently, she earned her Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree at the University of Minnesota under the Harvey Berneking Scholarship, laying a foundation for becoming a professional musician. In addition, her insatiable desire for learning has driven her to make all-out efforts to become a profound musician, including attending master classes with renowned faculty and musicians such as June Anderson, Peter Randsman, Arthur Levy, and Joseph Rescigno, as well as participating in music festivals such as Manhattan Opera Studio, Aspen Music Festival, NY Lyric Opera Theater, and La Musica Lirica. Under the guidance of Park Ji-hyun, Steven Rainbolt, and John De Haan, Lee is currently a member of the British & American vocal music society, the France Song Research Society, the Minnesota Contemporary Ensemble, the Seongshin Vocal Music Society and the Gangneung Music Association. Also she serves as an adjunct professor at Sejong University and Catholic University, as well as a instructor at Sungshin Women’s University, training young students.
