Allegro gentilePROFILEGuitarist Lim Jae-min After graduating from the Department of Instrumental Music at Seoul National University, he pursued further studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Alicante. Lim graduated summa com laude honors earning a Master at Alicante Conservatory, and came into the spotlight early on as the best performer in the Music Association Competition, the runner-up in the KCO Competition, and second place in the De Antony International Guitar Competition. Having performed at a number of recitals and concerts as a soloist and concerto performer in Spain, Lim mesmerized the audience with his powerful performances with colorful and delicate tone. Having rendered music as a soloist and a member of the VIVA guitar ensemble, he has devoted himself in interpreting and researching works of various eras ranging from Baroque to modern and Spanish music, while performing with CSMA Orchestra at ADDA Hall in Spain, and at Elche, Monovar, etc, as well as ACL (Asia Composers’ League) New Music Concert, regular concerts of the Korea Guitar Association, invitation performances at the Korea Guitar Festival, and the House Concert 24 Hours Project. Currently, he serves as a director of the Korea Guitar Association, and teaches younger students at Gachon University and the University of Suwon.
