Completed a Diploma program and an artist diploma course at the Mannheim University of Music, Germany.Acquired multiples awards, including first prize at the Sungjung Music Competition, 3rd prize at the Dong-A Ilbo Competition, 3rd prize at the Walter und Charlotte-Hamel Foundation Competition, first prize at the Neue Stimmen International Competition for Asians, Arnold Petersen Preise at the Mannheim National Theater.Performed in numerous opera roles, including Micaela in Carmen, Margarethe in Faust, Governess in The Turn of the Screw, Ilya in Idomeneo, Adina in The Elixir of Love, Pamina in The Magic Flute, Anne-Hen in The Freeshooter, Blanche in The Dialogue of the Carmelite Nuns, Sophie in Werther, Sophie in The Knight of the Rose, Liu in Turandot, and Heo Hwang-ok in Queen Heo, Donna Anna in Seoul Metropolitan Opera’s Don Giovanni, Mimi in Korea National Opera’s La Bohème. Performed as a soloist in numerous oratories, including Händel’s Messiah, Mendelssohn’s Elias, Saint-Saëns’s Oratorio de Noël, Mozart’s Krönungsmesse, Requiem in D minor, Haydn’s Die Jahreszeiten, Beethoven’s Symphony 9, Verdi’s Messa da Requiem. Currently serves as an adjunct professor at College of Music, Hanyang University.
