Miu Sakamoto, daughter of the late Ruichi Sakamoto, will give her first ever concert in Korea.Daughter of the world-famous musician Ruichi Sakamoto and the reputed musician in Japan Yano Akiko, Miu Sakamoto started her musical career at the age of 16 by participating in the theme song of “Stalker – the inescapable love” under her stage name ‘Sister M.’ Then, she continued her career with a mini album release under her real name in 1988. As a versatile artist, she not only creates gentle and soothing melodies in her music, but also publishes a cat-themed photo essay book as well as poetry. This year, Sakamoto served as a jury member for the Jecheon International Film & Music Festival, from which we can expect more of her presence in Korea in the future.
