Taking about ‘trees’ at the Exhibition of Happy PicturesThis summer, we had more typhoons and more severe heat than any other year. Now, we say goodbye to summer. And, as we prepare to greet autumn with fluttering heart, we are opening the door of ‘The 9th Exhibition of Happy Pictures’ with all the member of the Association of Artists for Fine Art. The association consists of Korean artists all of who had majored in pure painting and maintain their own expertise for each genre and unique style of works. Every year, each artist shows different style of work for the same theme. This exhibition was designed to show artists’ unique works and world views to the public.The theme of the 2011 Exhibition of Happy Pictures is ‘trees.’Trees which can be easily found around us are depicted in different ways by 17 artists, and they try to draw trees with brand-new styles by applying their own characteristics and personality to the objects. The audience can appreciate various styles of pictures.
