Korea Flute Society\’s Opening ConcertOn March 3, 2013 at 5:00pm, Korea Flute Society\’s Opening Concert will be held at Sejong Chamber Hall. It will be a present for spring to provide diverse music including well-known flute music, newly rearranged songs, unfamiliar but difficult contemporary songs, creative songs (Composed by Hong Su-yeon, a professor of music at Sookmyung Women\’s University) and others. The concert will play a role of discovering new artists equipped with passion and challenging spirit, and sharing and studying information and knowledge of music between the society members by composing various genres of songs based on the flow for the whole program. In addition, it will have a better understanding of the direction and trend regarding classical music, along with rapidly changing flute circle, through an in-dept study for flute music, and expand experimental, new and innovative playing activities and exchanges for promoting the development of Korean music.
